Here are a couple of wallpaper images. More will come later.
Each one is available as a bmp or jpg file. If your desktop is set to show web content, it doesn't matter which one you use, otherwise you will need a bmp image. If you have a slow connection and an image editing program, you can download the jpg file and convert it to a bmp image.
These images are 800x600 in size, but if your screen resolution is different, you can set your desktops background to stretch to fill the screen. I will supply them in 640x480 and 1024x768 resolution later along with more images to choose from.
To use this wallpaper, right-click on the link of your choice and save the image in your C:\windows directory.
The next time you go to change your desktop background, this will be one of your choices.

This picture is being provided in 3 different brightness levels. Some people prefer the picture to be normal. Others like it better dark or light to be easier to see the desktop shortcuts. My preference is a lighter image. It looks good, and allows you to easily see your shortcuts, but the choice is yours.
